Cheap International Flights

Dear Colleagues,

Levon KhachigianWe warmly welcome your participation at the 15th International Vascular Biology Meeting, to be held in Sydney from June 1-5, 2008.

International Vascular Biology Meetings have become a leading forum for the dissemination and discussion of new findings in this rapidly expanding field and the development of collaborations amongst scientists and clinicians. The IVBM tradition will continue in Sydney.

The 2008 meeting will showcase the cutting-edge in vascular biology featuring many of the world’s leading researchers and clinicians. Plenary sessions, Workshops, Poster Sessions, Free abstract presentations will provide a dynamic platform for the vibrant and fruitful exchange of new findings, research questions and state-of-the-art techniques.

Competitive travel awards for students and postdocs will be offered with the enthusiastic support of the Australian Vascular Biology Society (AVBS), North American Vascular Biology Organisation (NAVBO), European Vascular Biology Organisation (EVBO), Japan Vascular Biology and Medicine Organization (JVBMO) and the Canadian Society of Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (CSATVB).

I urge you to make this a meeting you’ll attend and support. As with all previous IVBMs, the Sydney conference promises to be a highly stimulating and influential meeting bridging basic scientific advances with clinical need. There will be ample opportunity of sparking new collaborations and friendships in the spirit of international cross-fertilisation, as well as polishing up old ones during the lively social programme.

Conde Nast Traveller put Sydney in first spot for most favorite overseas city, ahead of Paris, New York and Rome. We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Sydney!
